Are you a Payroll Manager, who is instrumental in building and maintaining client relationships and are looking for your next exciting opportunity within a growing practice? Do you have a sound understanding of compensation and benefits and are looking for an exciting opportunity with a broad remit? I am partnering with a marketing leading brand to source a Clients Payroll, Compensation and Benefits Manager.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Deal with high level benefit and payroll related queries, including the setting up of new benefit schemes, the tax treatment of benefits, secondments, salary sacrifice arrangements, pensions, and overseas employees
    Manage the on-boarding of new clients and client payrolls
  • Support the client partners to win new work
  • Reviewing and authorising payments from the client accounts
  • Meet clients to review the service and implementing any necessary changes to improve the service
  • Supporting client partners and managers with client PAYE inspections
  • Support the Departmental Partner and IT Director with, and lead the, triennial BACS inspection process
  • Handle client billing on clients where acting as client manager
  • Working closely with, and responding to, client partners to ensure that their client needs are being met
  • Oversight of the annual P11D and PSA preparation process for the clients
  • Recruitment of staff into the team
  • Supporting Team Leaders with the allocation of work and the management of resources throughout the payroll cycle
  • Performance managing the Team Leaders and supporting them in the management of their teams (appraisals, ad hoc reviews, formal performance processes, absence management)
  • Identifying and implementing development for the team members
  • In conjunction with the Team Leaders, upskilling the team to expand the service offered to clients
  • Identifying and implementing changes to structure and internal processes to ensure resources are being used to maximum efficiency
  • Working closely with the Departmental Partner to ensure that the team is operating in line with the departmental strategy
  • Provision of HR advice and services to the Firm's client base
