We're engaged on a unique and multifaceted Director of HR & Talent Management search based out of NY. Our client is an exciting real estate investment and development company headquartered in California with offices in New York City, San Francisco, Seattle and Dallas. They have a well-established, secure and thriving global footprint and develop multifamily rental and for-sale residential projects. Their US operation is comprised of a team of over 90 professionals across all functional areas of real estate, acquisitions, development, design, asset management, accounting/finance and capital markets.
Reporting into The Director of US HR Operations with regular CEO interface, they are seeking a skilled strategic and progressive HR Talent and Projects Leader create and implement their performance management process, competency models, and all talent management and development countrywide, inclusive of competency models and training. Successful candidates will come out of agile organizations yet will thrive operating with little structure employing their highly entrepreneurial mindset and creativity. This role will be based out of the NYC Office with a hybrid schedule requiring 3 days in office. Broader HR experience as a business partner will also be highly desired as the smaller nature of the organization means that all employees work cross functionally at times. It's an exciting opportunity for an innovative HR Talent professional who enjoys building out sustainable and successful platforms within the professional services space.
Serve as a strategic business partner to the management team on key organizational and HR issues and work as the HR representative for firm's East Coast office
Work with senior management on key HR processes and initiatives for performance management, talen assessment and development, succession planning, etc.
Develop talent assessment processes and systems to ensure the business has the requisite bench strength including alignment of skills, competencies, and leadership dimensions. Assess organizational performance systemically, defining talent gaps and proposing HR solutions that support business objectives
Revamp KPI performance management processes/tools to improve performance alignment, performance measurement and organizational effectiveness across the company
Lead organization design activities to streamline and implement organization structures (e.g. Holacracy, Agile, etc.), roles and/or processes that support business strategies and demands
Partner with other HR team members design and implement critical HR programs and processes to build and maintain the firm's culture
