We're working with a regional retail service company as they seek to hire a Director of Human Resources. This is a newly created role reporting to the company's Chief Operating and People Officer, who was previously the company's Chief People Officer and was recently promoted, taking on responsibility for sales, operations, development, and IT. This position will backfill handling a number of the CPO's responsibilities with an emphasis on recruiting and learning & development.

The company has just over 300 employees, most of whom work in the field at nearly 20 regional service centers. Our client is seeking candidates with 7+ years of progressive HR experience, ideally gained in the retail or hospitality sectors supporting a field-based population. While the opportunity will require working in the company's headquarters periodically, the HR Director can expect to spend a good amount of their time in the field establishing a presence at the company's various service centers. Broad HR generalist experience with a deep spike of expertise in talent acquisition and training and development will be key to success for this role. The HR Director will have the support of an HR Manager, who is well-versed in benefits, 2 recruiters, and a learning and development coordinator who will help to upload course content to the company's learning management system.
