EMEA Payroll & Benefits Manager £75k to £85k + 30% bonus - City

A global leader in Investment Banking seek an experienced and dedicated EMEA Payroll & Benefits Manager.

Reporting into the Global Head of Payroll & Benefits you will be the subject matter expert for a UK and 6 EMEA payrolls as well as heading up and improving their current benefits offering.

Please note that my client are offering a 2 days in the office and 3 days from home working policy.

The role:

  • UK Payroll:
    • Support/lead external stakeholder management of outsourced Payroll services
    • Payroll Provider and Modified payroll review
    • Stock Vestings and Form 42 reporting
    • Payroll Accounting
    • Payroll analysis i.e. Gender Pay Gap reporting
    • Assist in the management of external stakeholders and ensure that correct payments are made, and appropriate information provided to third parties such as the HMRC and other statutory and pension scheme bodies
  • Overseas Payrolls & Global Mobility:
    • Support/lead external stakeholder management of outsourced Payroll services
    • Assist in management of secondment programmes through payroll
    • Stock Vesting apportionment reporting
    • Short Term Business Visitor reporting
    • Supporting external Tax Advisors - Tax support, payroll reconciliations and tax return assistance
  • Benefits UK & Overseas:
    • Support/lead external stakeholder management of outsourced Benefits Platform
    • Policy renewals and new joiner enrolments
    • Preparation and update of benefits online and onboarding material
    • Data collection to support reports and dashboards that will enhance the growing wellbeing programme
    • Support and alignment of processes across UK, Ireland, Dubai, Spain, Belgium, Netherlands and Saudi


  • Experience of working in a multinational / global environment -including specific knowledge of delivering payroll and benefit solutions in EMEA
  • In-depth knowledge of UK PAYE & global mobility payroll support
  • Knowledge of benefits systems with benefits specific experience ideally in a financial services environment
  • Management experience and being able to lead a team
  • Knowledge of payroll systems i.e., ADP
  • Experience of leading or playing a key role in changing payroll vendor
  • In-depth knowledge and experience of internal and external audit controls
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong analytical skills
