A famous, global Financial Services business is now looking to recruit an experienced Group Reward Consultant to take ownership for the successful delivery of reward projects and initiatives across the Group, specifically supporting the year-end performance and pay review cycle. This includes the end-to-end development, implementation and communication of the activities involved in the year-end performance and pay review, ensuring these activities reflect the strategic objectives and business priorities. Key duties will be to support the coordination of the Group's annual performance and pay review which typically includes delivering training and briefing sessions to partners in HR, supporting the determination and assessment of the variable pay pool and fixed pay budget, developing support materials for business engagement, and providing quality assurance of performance and pay review outcomes. You will assess the effectiveness of policies and processes and pro-actively recommend new and innovative approaches and solutions. Essential experience and key attributes for this role are:

  • Strong knowledge of reward practices in global organisations
  • Proven track record of successful implementation of performance and reward initiatives
  • Stakeholder management and influencing skills with the ability to engage a diverse stakeholder group, including senior populations
  • Strong business acumen with an ability to link business strategy to people practices; ability to apply critical analysis and judgment when reviewing activities
  • Strong analytical and numerical skills; ability to interpret trends
  • Ability to work in a matrix environment and influence counterparts in global, regional and country teams
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills and strong customer orientation
