Head of HR Operations & Payroll - Financial Services

A sizeable global financial services organisation is looking for a Head of HR Operations & Regional Payroll Lead (VP level) to operate in this hybrid role based in the Singapore office.

Reporting in to the Country Head of HR locally with a dotted line in to the Global Head of Ops & Payroll, you will be responsible for managing the established Country HR Operations team in Singapore end-to-end with additional oversight of the regional Payroll team which combined consists of a sizable team with 6 direct reports spread across the Region.

More specifically, you will manage Country HR Operations end-to-end supported by a strong team. You will lead the design, implementation and governance of all country policies. This includes tracking policy and process changes, managing country HR audits surrounding ops & payroll processes and delivering HR regulatory and management reporting related to country policy. You will also represent the function in country governance meetings on behalf of HR. You will also manage relationships with external vendors ensuring they are aligned with agreed SLA's and you will ensure all HR Ops is managed in a timely and quality orientated manner.

From a Payroll perspective, you will also oversee payroll processes across the region supported by Payroll Leads in each country. You will drive efficient day-to-day operations and ownership of payroll processes, payroll reports and analytics, in line with procedures. You will supervise payroll accounting and sign off on processes ensuring they are aligned with control and performance indicators.

You will be a seasoned Country or Regional Head of HR Operations who has also operated in a Regional Payroll position at some point in your career within a global financial or professional services organisation. You will have a track record managing sizeable as well as lean teams. You will have an excellent understanding of the HR Ops & Payroll requirements in Singapore and ideally across the region. You will also have experience managing HR Policy, Governance and Reporting in Singapore and operating as part of a Country HR Leadership team. Degree (preferred) and experience utilising workday and / or SAP systems preferred.
