An outstanding opportunity has arisen for a growing financial services business who are looking for a Head of HR to manage their UK employees (c.350). The role will be based in Ayrshire and will require the successful individual to provide high-level HR commercial partnerships across all areas of the firm, which include C-suite level employees. The second component of the role will be driving the operational delivery across HR, reviewing processes and making improvements where appropriate.
This Head of HR will be managing a small team and developing them as strong HR professionals within the business.
Although the Head of HR plays a key hands-on role, the firm also requires this individual to be a strategic thinker and be able to adapt to the broad demands the position will create.
Candidates will need to be able to demonstrate they are first and foremost a strong "HR business partner" and be able to evidence their ability to operate both operationally and strategically.
Previous experience of managing external payroll and working with the HR system Workday would also be highly desirable.
Candidates must be of degree caibre and be able to work in a highly analytical environment.
