Head of Recruitment

This is a hugely exciting opportunity to join a leading Professional Services brand based in Birmingham in a newly created Head of Recruitment role. Having successfully completed several acquisitions the firm has a diversified offering and this is the perfect time to bring this altogether to create, shape and manage a sophisticated Resourcing strategy and framework.

As a newly created position, this role truly represents an ideal opportunity to develop and shape a robust and sophisticated resourcing framework. Strategically it's very important as it will have full responsibility for creating a diverse talent pipeline for today as well as forecasting talent needs for the future as the business grows.

Reporting to the Chief People Officer, this is a senior leadership role with responsibility for a team of six. Working closely with HR colleagues and senior stakeholders, the team is responsible for Talent Acquisition across the UK which is spread over 12 offices, and includes all aspects of experienced hiring, early careers and graduate recruitment strategies to secure the best talent across the firm. It will also ensure that all internal processes are aligned and that the delivery framework is efficient and robust.

Previous experience of working in a Professional Services firm is desirable. You may be at Manager level and looking for a step up or already working at Head of level. You will have experience of developing and managing a TA team across early talent and experienced hires, and be able to clearly articulate strong business and commercial thinking alongside evidence of having built robust resourcing frameworks.

Ideally you will be able to access their office in central Birmingham. The firm operates a good flexible working policy, ideally 2 days (or more) per week in the office.
