Am working with a leading law firm who are looking for a Head of Talent. A new senior role with the firm demonstrating the central importance to the firm of investing in the development of their people.
Working closely with the Managing Partner, wider leadership team and HR colleagues this role will see the successful applicant developing and delivering a strategy for people development, diversity and inclusion. They will build the capability of people and teams to deliver the strategy and maintain a high performance culture where everyone's contribution is heard and valued.
The business is looking for a solid Talent Management professional who can act as a lead on design and implementation of leadership and management development, talent, succession, performance, promotion and career pathways initiatives, through definition and identification of an inclusive model of talent identification and recognition. You will also be involved in the delivery of those initiatives and the talent development programme; and provide advice, challenge and consultancy to the senior leadership of the firm in building the firm of the future.
Involved in both Leadership & Management Development along with Organisational Development you will build a leadership and management concept appropriate for the business and identify core competencies and behaviours of leadership and management. Drive key change programs to embed changes across people, processes and systems with a focus on inclusion, people experience and diversity of voice where everyone feels they have an important role to play in the success of the firm. You will take a lead in talent processes including career development pathways, promotion to leadership, high potential identification, talent pipeline, development planning and capability assessment; and implement policies and procedures around progression that are transparent and inclusive.
The firm is looking to meet candidate who are CIPD qualified and have experience of developing approaches to capability and behavioural assessment and development along with design and implementation of leadership and management development programs and leading change.
