Our client, a privately held investment firm, is looking for an HR Business Partner to support a new business venture of theirs. This person will be the 1st HR hire to support 30 employees with the business almost doubling over the next year. They need support in the areas of performance management, talent reviews, compensation statements, talent acquisition, succession planning, employee relations, employee development, etc. Financial services (ideally, wealth management) and/or professional services industry experience is highly preferred. This person must be comfortable in an autonomous role where they can hit the ground running and build credibility and relationships with key stakeholders quickly. This person will need to be open to travel to Chicago because the majority of the employees and key stakeholders sit in that location. A competitive base salary plus bonus is offered.
