I'm currently partnering with a leading global Financial Services company who are headquartered in the US. My client are looking for an Employee Relations Advisor for their EMEA locations. This Employee Relations Advisor role will sit within their London office where you will work as part of a small but agile EMEA Employee Relations team.
A recent move into a more generalist role has created a need for a ER specialist to join a team where career development is actively supported if sought out; be it via a case management pathway or lateral opportunities across the broader Human Resources team.
As the Employee Relations Advisor you will be aligned to a specific population group where you will have experience of managing high complex caseloads along with the ability to work with and provide advice to lines of business on all aspects of the employment relationship including occupational health, performance management, disciplinary, grievances, redundancies, sickness absence and breach of policies in order to mitigate business risk.
To be considered for this role you will have demonstrable Employee Relations experience, ideally from within a large financial services matrix structure with working knowledge of EMEA wide employment legislations. You will possess excellent written and verbal communication skills as well as the ability to effectively organise, prioritise and handle multiple assignments simultaneously. You will have both the emotional intelligence and smarts to work with speed if a case needs escalating and/or to involve legal. With that comes the ability and confidence to coach and partner lines of business for the required outcome whilst ensuring a compassionate and fair approach to employees at all times. You must be relationship driven as this will determine success in role.
If you feel you suit these attributes and are interested in this exciting Employee Relations Advisor role then please forward an up to date CV to us for consideration.
