We have an exciting opportunity for a HR Generalist on a permanent basis. The position will be based in Florham Park on a hybrid model. For further information about this position please read below:

About the role:

Our client, a high caliber, stable, and growing global professional services firm with a large international presence and a solid footprint domestically is seeking a skilled and passionate HR Generalist to support a blended client group spanning corporate functions and claims while supporting the work of a highly impactful, nurturing and skilled manager. This true business partner role will provide immediate opportunity for a skilled generalist to take their next logical step within a professional services environment that is driven by integrity and excellence, and is known for its collegial and cohesive culture, while assuring they will have room to grow and develop in the long term as well.


This role is seated in Morris County, NJ on a hybrid basis with 3 days in the office. Occasional travel to other local offices (NYC and Westchester) is required every month to month and a half (mass transit accessible). Essential Focuses and Responsibilities:

Support and communicate employee relations initiatives that foster a positive organizational culture and support high performance

Assist with investigations and address employee issues and concerns

Source, identify and onboard candidates for all groups in your remit

Create and reports and conduct analyses on people data

Assist with regular succession planning processes and play a part in running performance management programs and procedures, including but not limited to appraisals and improvement plans

Communicate reward policies and participate in annual compensation planning and talent management processes

Partner on the administration, management and implementation of training programs, as required

Play an active role in the internship program, on campus recruiting and other trainee programs

Well suited candidates will possess a Bachelor's Degree, Human Resources or related field or relevant with a minimum of 3 years exempt-level Human Resources background ideally out of a midsized, matrixed professional services (Insurance, Legal, Financial Services e.g. firm).

Experience with Talent Management, Organizational Development / Effectiveness would be ideal.

Strong data processing and interpretation, visualization skills (e.g., Excel, Visio, etc.) are needed for success, as are solid communication skills and Willingness to adhere to strict confidentiality standards
