Our client, a large global professional services firm and respected name real estate services has engaged us to appoint an HR Manager, People Partner to serve their Americas market in a regional capacity, providing both strategic partnership and hands on support in the delivery of key people initiatives. This true business partner role is ideal for an individual that thrives in entrepreneurial settings suited to creative problem solvers who are dedicated to the continuous improvement of processes and advancement of a fully embedded, strategic HR function. You'll partner heavily with this hiring manager, a phenomenal HR practitioner and regional leader on key HR initiatives and projects relative to integration, change management and implementation of HR best practices and engage with peers in the firm globally on any international initiatives. Solid employee relations, talent management, workforce development and project management skills will predict success in the role, particularly if they have been gained within at least 5 years as true business partner in center of excellence modeled, global matrix settings. Profiles with existing experience out of fast moving financial, professional services, or real estate, will be prioritized by our client, but generally, backgrounds developed within complex mid to large sized company structures known for best practices HR are desired. The role can be based in the Rutherford, NJ area or Midtown Manhattan on a hybrid schedule, with 3 days in office. Some local and northeastern travel to other offices in the region quarterly, largely for short or day trips (Philadelphia, Baltimore, Pittsburgh, etc) will be necessary.
