HR Manager (12 month FTC)

A leading International Professional Services business is in the market for a strong HR Manager to cover a period of maternity leave.

The purpose of this role is to provide the full range of HR Generalist support from an operational and strategic perspective to aligned fee-earning groups. This will include providing guidance on HR policies and practices, HR initiatives, resolving queries and issues and delivering a first class service to the business. You will be working closely with partners and people managers, acting as a trusted advisor to ensure that the people agenda is reflected in all business decisions.
In this true generalist role you will collaborate with the partners in aligned practice groups to understand the key business objectives in order to define, create and deliver HR solutions. You'll work with the HR generalist team, partners and line managers, to implement business improvement, HR policies and processes and also promote the HR Services model and encourage increased usage and efficient, effective ways of working.

Other areas of focus include ER, Talent Management and Development, Engagement and Performance and Reward. You should keep fully up to date with all developments in terms of employment legislation and employee relations issues and utilise this technical knowledge to provide advice and guidance to people managers. You will be managing performance, grievance and disciplinary issues (including managed exits) within designated groups and support the SHRM in cases across designated groups.
My client is looking for someone with strong data and management reporting experience too. You will be required to create and utilise management reports to enable informed and appropriate business decisions to be made, using data to highlight potential areas of focus in support of the people agenda.

In order to be considered for this exciting opportunity you should have gained a thorough understanding of how HR works from a Professional Services environment. Experience from Legal or Management Consulting backgrounds are highly attrctive.
You should showcase your end to end skill set as a generalist covering the abovementioned areas of focus.
