Our client is a leading private equity and venture capital firm based in NYC with over 400 employees. The firm has gone through significant growth in the last few years and is looking to add a Manager of Campus Recruiting to their team to support their evolving campus recruiting programs. This role will report into a Senior Manager of Campus Recruiting who has overseen the maturation of campus hiring programs at the firm for nearly two years and is expanding her team as the appetite for these services and programs increases. The team is comprised of a Senior Manager and a Campus Recruiter, who the Manager will help develop. There is also a DEI Campus Recruiter with whom the team partners.
The ideal candidate will have 2+ years of campus recruiting experience, ideally gained in a best-in-class financial services environment. Building a campus recruiting program in an environment where the capability is evolving often requires one to turn on a dime; flexibility and agility in working style will be vital, as will be the ability to operate in a fast-paced environment. The team shares responsibility for traveling to and attending events on campus, so travel requirements for this role may be high during campus season. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, is also critical for success. This role entails campus recruiting only, with program management being handled separately.
