One of the world's leading investment management businesses is now looking to hire a People Data Manager to join their growing Data Analytics team. This newly created role will be responsible for the people data strategy and roadmap, ensuring appropriate governance and integrity controls, covering data architecture, storage and solutions to enable ease of access and usage to support enhanced employee experiences, people analytics and data driven decisions - ultimately driving positive customer and business outcomes.
The People Data Manager will lead the People Data team and directly manage the HR Data Lead and oversee the development of appropriate data integrations and solutions, including data warehousing, workflows, reporting, dashboards and data models and will play a key role in establishing a tiered model for data services and solutions in UK Group HR, in partnership with Group People Analytics and HR Systems & Reporting. Core duties will be to: Develop people data ethics, governance and compliance principles and oversight controls. Ensuring appropriate data privacy and security controls are in place and adhered to, managing what people data is shared and how it's used (including outside of HR), identifying potential risks and providing regulatory guidance. Develop and implement a people data quality and stewardship framework to ensure golden sources of truth, monitor and track data quality, inform priorities and action plans, and drive improvement. Develop people data guidance including importance, quality, roles and responsibilities, access and security guidelines. Lead on the development and implementation of the people data architecture and integrations, working closely with HR Systems and Group IT, to ensure people data is seamlessly connected across HR and business applications. Oversee the development of data solutions, including reports, dashboards and data models for advanced analytics, to provide accurate and relevant data to HR and the business in a simple and easy to consume way.
Work with HR Shared Services and others in the business on the continuous review, simplification and improvement of people data related processes with a view to close gaps, integrate new data sources, ensure high data quality and appropriate controls. Contribute to the design of HR processes to ensure appropriate data flows and compliance of systems in terms of GDPR and data policies and keep abreast of all legislative changes and identify any potential impact on data processing, internal policies and procedures. As a result the business is looking to meet candidates with extensive experience in implementing and managing HR data, systems and reporting, with good understanding of data processing, quality and usage. Possesses a good understanding of HR policies and practices, together with extensive experience of developing and implementing data governance frameworks and programs. A good understanding of IT architecture, security standards and HR processes, and how they interact with other services (e.g. finance / procurement), experience and knowledge of data architecture and integration processes, experience and knowledge in designing and implementing complex data structures and knowledge and practical application of data tools and analysis. Experience in PowerBI and Alteryx is desirable. In addition to the above salary there is a substantial benefits package including generous cash bonus.
