An exciting opportunity has arisen for a People Officer to join an innovative SME organisation based in Brighton. This is a rapidly growing organisation who have a Global presence and in the past eighteen months have five additional brands to their portfolio.
This newly created position reports into the People Manager and will have full exposure to the full generalist HR piece. You will deliver a professional service to effectively manage the administration activities associated with the employee life cycle and all associated people related systems, processes and activities.
As the People Officer you will support all key HR generalist activities and employee relations issues (disciplinary, grievances, performance management), absence management administration and reporting, supporting the onboarding/off boarding process, support change management processes and ensuring the employee database is kept accurate and up to date at all times. There will also be an opportunity to get involved in various HR projects and produce monthly HR reports to support HR Key Success Indicators.
You will be given autonomy within the role and you will be able to add value, raising the profile of the HR function.
If you have solid generalist experience, a good understanding of employment law and are able to build strong working relationships this will be of great interest to my client. You will also be tenacious and able to work in a dynamic, fast paced and changing environment
