My client is one of the leading charities in the country, providing support for 3,000 people with a learning disability and employing around 3000 staff. Operationally, they have been and continue to be innovative in recognising and championing good support, whilst taking an alternative view at how support is provided. They are recruiting for a Regional Senior HR Business Partner to join the HR team on a fixed term contract of 10 months to cover maternity.
This role is home based and is required to support the North West Region. To spend time in services when needed the ideal candidate will live within travelling distance to either Cheshire, Lancashire, Leeds or Worcestershire.
As a charity they are sector leading and recognised and observed by CQC and local authorities who provide most of the funding for care packages. Offering such a high level of service means as a HR Business Partner you will be responsible for ensuring that the employees and senior teams have the tools to continue this success.

As a Senior HR Business Partner, you will be part of a broader HR team that includes other Senior HR Business Partners and HR Advice and Guidance Helpdesk Officers and of course with the North West Region's Operational Leadership Team. You will have experience of successfully supporting operations as a strategic business partner but will be equally comfortable at rolling your sleeves up and supporting HR transactional activity and ER caseload if this is required. To date you will have gained vast experience of managing HR change from inception to delivery. You will be part of a team that is fully engaged in supporting the organisation's managers to achieve key efficiencies as well as driving cultural change.
You must be a credible and persuasive HR professional with extensive experience in a similar role . You will be strategically minded whilst being able to offer a commercial approach to HR in turn you will have worked on employee relations to complex levels.
It is likely you will possess experience gained within a regional/multi-site position within a charity, healthcare or corporate environment, and possess a broad generalist HR background in both an operational and strategic capacity.
