This newly created role reports into the HR Director and supports a business unit of 600 employees.
As the Strategic HR Business Partner, you will work closely with the HR Director to support a number of initiatives across the organisation. You will support and manage the talent strategy, handle complex employee relation case work, manage talent mobility, performance management, employee engagement, organisational design, workforce planning and support the HRD on mergers and acquisitions as well as TUPE. You will work with centres of excellence to ensure optimum and efficient support and execution in line with strategic growth plans. You will also play a key part in coaching, developing and supporting line management to develop their people management capability, implementing key strategic HR initiatives and managing specific HR projects to deliver solutions.
The successful candidate will have worked in a Senior HR Business Partnering capacity within a large corporate organisation. With extensive experience of acting as a Senior Business Partner and as a trusted advisor, your experience will include driving capability and performance, organisation design and development, mergers and acquisitions, talent management and succession planning, complex ER case work. Commercially aware, you will possess a combination of strategic thinking, technical excellence, and strong stakeholder management skills. You will be comfortable challenging the status quo and will excel at performance management.
You will need to display a consultative approach along with the ability to coach colleagues to facilitate growth, innovation, learning, engagement and collaboration balanced with achieving commercial outcomes.
