About our client:
Our client, a global financial services organisation is looking for a Talent Management VP to join the HR team. This MNC has a sizable population based in Singapore, where a lot of the leadership sits, and a reputable and growing global presence. The C-Suite are reviewing the group strategy and with this in mind, they are looking for a strong Talent Management & Development professional, ideally with a combination of in house Talent Management / Development and previous client facing TM Management Consulting experience based in Singapore, to join the organisation. This individual will have a focus of defining the Group Talent Management strategy, talent development programmes and leadership development initiatives in a strategic and operational individual contributor role, partnering directly with the group leadership team.
About the role:
More specifically, as a Group Talent Management & Development VP, you will be responsible for:
* Partnering with the Group Head of HR, Group Leadership team and business to define and develop the Group Talent Management and Talent Development Strategy with coverage of; Talent Management, Succession Planning, Performance Management, Leadership Development, Diversity & Inclusion, HR Change Management and Organisation Effectiveness.
* Operating as the Group SME in Talent Management & Development who is able to leverage thought leadership and conceptualise and design, from scratch, as well as implement, market leading talent strategy, with a focus on enhancing and building future capability group wide acting as a change agent for the implementation of key initiatives.
* Managing and facilitating annual talent management and talent development programmes company-wide, partnering with the business.
* Able to measure the effectiveness of Talent and Development programmes utilising technology and talent analytics to help inform and enhance the group wide strategy.
You will be a Talent Management and Talent Development professional with circa 10 - 15 years of experience who will have a track record operating as a client facing HR Change / Talent Management Consultant as well as an internal Talent Management & Leadership Development specialist, ideally operating within a global financial services organisation. The individual will be comfortable operating as an individual contributor as part of a lean and collaborative team. Due to also having coverage of markets such as China, mandarin speaking is preferred.
